The connector also generates a unique tracking number for each shipment, which is automatically integrated into Monstock. This provides users with centralised, real-time tracking without having to navigate between multiple interfaces. This increased visibility allows parcels to be tracked throughout the delivery process.

Updates to delivery statuses (Track & Trace) are also automated. Information transmitted by STG — picked up, in transit, delivered or returned — is directly synchronised with Monstock. This transparency enhances the responsiveness of teams, who can anticipate potential incidents or delays.

Returns management is also integrated: return statuses, dates and reasons are synchronised automatically, ensuring consistent updates to stock and shipping information. In the same flow, the tracking number generated by STG is automatically integrated into Monstock. This immediate synchronisation ensures complete traceability from the moment the shipment is prepared, while eliminating the need for manual entry.

Once transport is underway, STG sends Monstock the delivery status (Track & Trace) at each stage of the process: parcel picked up, in transit, delivered, or returned. These automatic updates allow users to track the status of shipments in real time directly from Monstock, without switching between interfaces.

The connector also handles return flows, transmitting information about returns (date, status, reason). This data is integrated into Monstock in order to update the relevant stock and order records.

Viewing rates and taxes

Before confirming a shipment, Monstock may query STG to obtain the applicable delivery rates and taxes. This feature allows users to compare available options based on cost and delivery times, thereby optimising shipment planning.
