Thanks to this integration, shipping labels (PDF/ZPL) are automatically generated from the information recorded in Monstock. As soon as a parcel is validated, the data required for shipping — addresses, weight, dimensions and product references — is sent to Yodel. Once the labels have been created, the tracking number for each shipment is sent back by Yodel and automatically integrated into Monstock. This gives users real-time visibility of parcel tracking without having to navigate between multiple tools. This promotes operational responsiveness and simplifies communication with customers.

The connector also manages the automatic updating of delivery statuses (Track & Trace). Each change — collection, transit, delivery or return — is transmitted by Yodel to Monstock. The information is synchronised in real time, ensuring accurate tracking and full traceability of shipments.

Returns management is also included: when a parcel is returned via Yodel, the relevant information (date, reason, status) is automatically updated in Monstock. Stock levels are adjusted instantly, ensuring perfect consistency between field data and system data.

In addition, the connector allows you to view delivery rates and taxes directly from Monstock before confirming a shipment, making it easier to plan and control transport costs.

Flow from Monstock to Yodel

When a parcel is validated in Monstock, the shipping information (products, weight, dimensions, shipping and delivery addresses) is automatically sent to Yodel. This transfer triggers the generation of shipping labels (PDF/ZPL), in accordance with the carrier's standards. These labels can be printed directly from Monstock and affixed to parcels before shipment.

Once the labels have been created, Yodel returns the tracking number for each shipment. This number is automatically integrated into the corresponding order in Monstock, enabling continuous, centralised tracking.

The delivery statuses (Track & Trace) are automatically updated as the shipment progresses through the various stages of transport. Yodel transmits tracking information in real time — shipped, in transit, delivered or returned — which is immediately synchronised in Monstock. This continuous updating ensures complete visibility of parcels and allows users to track their progress without any manual action.

Returns management is also automated. When a parcel is returned via Yodel, the relevant data (reason for return, date, status) is sent back to Monstock. This process automatically updates stock levels and order statuses, ensuring consistency of information and smooth management of reverse flows.

Viewing rates and taxes

Before confirming a shipment, Monstock queries Yodel to obtain applicable rates and taxes. This allows users to optimise their transport costs and select the best shipping option according to their operational needs.
